The most essential taste of February for me is that of cinnamon hearts. They’re tiny sparks of warmth against the winter that has chilled and blanketed us here for so long. I collected some songs that have helped to fortify against the cold and hold more than a hint of spice. There’s love, a touch of sorrow and more than a little hope.
