Cory Doctorow’s Homeland is at once a supremely engaging story and an unabashed polemic against corporate and political abuse. It’s near-future science fiction with believable relationships, relevant dangers, and practical info dumps. It’s geeky, timely, hopeful and touching.
This week I’ve been listening to the audiobook of _Homeland_. It’s read by Wil Wheaton at the top of his game and his range is surprising. It’s a marvelously well produced audiobook.
Homeland, like all of Cory’s books, is available as a free ebook download (at http://craphound.com/homeland/download/ ). It’s also, of course, provided as an audiobook (at http://craphound.com/homeland/homeland-audiobook/ ) and a dead tree version (at http://craphound.com/homeland/buy/).
