Today a Canadian election campaign was forced by the ruling Conservatives. Tom Mulcair and the New Democrats have earned our votes and promise so much better than the fiscal mismanagement, poor economic stewardship and violently harmful social policies of the Conservative and Liberal governments that have haunted Canada for too long. Hope and optimism can replace fear and division, but we have a lot of work ahead of us to ensure a responsible government is elected.
