Cindy Moon’s Silk was introduced in 2014 as a girl who was bitten by the same spider that bit Peter Parker to turn him into Spider-Man and was then stuck in a bunker for much of her life. The character has been allowed to develop into a compelling part of the wider cast of characters in Spider-Man’s New York. The first dedicated series of Silk (https://comicstore.marvel.com/Silk-2015/comics-series/35326) has been a great introduction to one of the most promising of Marvel’s new characters.
