While I was growing up macaroni was a staple in my house. Now, of course, I leave out animal ingredients.
Last night I was looking through some foods left behind by former roommates and decided to use a simple tomato sauce and crushed tomatoes as the base of a sauce fired up by some sriracha and pepper. I also used some abandoned vegetable stock for cooking the macaroni, a process I find makes for better tasting pastas.
