As a celebration of the success of Mikel’s fantastic Zelda & Chill album, Mikel and Gamechops put out a beautiful new “Zelda’s Medley” track that plays with bits from many of the best games in The Legend of Zelda series.
Featuring themes from across the Legend of Zelda series, Mikel returns to GameChops to celebrate 100 million streams on Zelda & Chill.
Zelda’s Medley
Mikel is the creator of a multitude of lofi hip hop concept albums. Met with viral success, “Zelda & Chill” hit the Billboard charts, and in 2020 the follow-up “Zelda & Chill 2” was released. “Zelda’s Medley” features seven melodies from the Zelda series, meant to capture as many moods as a full album, in one track.
If you listen closely, you can hear musical references from Breath of the Wild, Ocarina of Time, A Link to the Past, Wind Waker, A Link Between Worlds, and of course, the iconic main theme from 1986’s The Legend of Zelda.
