Early in November the wonderful Srsly Wrong podcast release an episode focusing on prefiguation, described by guest Anark as “trying to build the vessel that looks the most like our ideal world as possible with what we currently have available” and it explores the pragmatic work of building structures that can support a transition to a better world, such as democratic practices or mutual aid.
This episode is a deep dive into what it means to build prefigurative institutions that can help us actualize the transition to a better society. Special guest Anark and the Wrong Boys explore how our organizations should be structured, the pitfalls we might face, and the difficult questions that might come along the way.

The Wii U was an important system to me, even though it certainly wasn’t a commercial success. It was the primary gaming and watching device in my home when I shared a house with a bunch of lovely people. We watched a lot of Netflix, and I played a lot of Xenoblade Chronicles X, still one of my absolute favourite games.
