Worldle

Worldle takes the basic mechanics of Wordle and applies them to a geography game.

I played Wordle like many folks have, but I’ve had more fun looking at some of the games inspired by it. Worldle takes the basic mechanics of Wordle and applies them to a geography game. By default, a solid shape of a country is displayed and the player guesses countries and is given the distance and rough direction from the centre of the guess to the actual country. With the shape, sometimes the country is obvious, and there’s an option to turn off the shape and work only with the distance and direction data. The game has been a fun way to sharpen up my geographical understanding.
