Halifax’s Discovery Centre was a place I always loved to visit when I was a kid, so I’ve been looking forward to taking Celestine for her first visit. This Sunday we went and she had a blast. She’s too young to grasp most of the science being presented, but she loved the hands-on exhibits and exploring the environment. Highlights for her were the Voyage to the Deep experience, a water cycle model and a small aquarium housing starfish, urchins, and hermit crabs.
