I’ve been tracking the music I listen to with Last.fm since 2004 and in 2022 I recorded more listening than any year other than 2005. Having settled into working at home, I’m able to listen to music while I work and have it be the background for more of my life. I listened to more new music this year than in previous ones and enjoyed exploring some genres earnestly that before I’ve only touched on fleetingly.
