I’ve been busy this week with Celestine’s birthday and other life events popping up, so moments to check in on the fediverse have been a nice change of pace.

A pair of crows has started building a nest by my home. I’m hoping I’ll be able to spot baby crows in the months ahead.

Tonight I finished the story of Xenoblade Chronicles 3. I’m firmly set with this as my favourite game I’ve ever played. I love all of the Xenoblade games but this one provides a heartbreaking but fitting ending to the series. The gameplay, the world, the characters, the score, and the meaning all add up to something I haven’t experienced in gaming before. There are bits that stray from perfect, but as a whole this is as close to my ideal game as I’ve played.

Celestine turned 4 today and enjoyed celebrating at her daycare, where she received this balloon.
