I’ve been occupied with work and time outside, but I found a bit of time for the fediverse.

I used my teleport scroll on today’s floor (38) to get some health restored and have an easier path to the exit.

On my lunch break I’m enjoying a walk through a path shaded by trees. On a hot day this is exactly the invigorating experience I needed.

I hoped to make some gains on this floor, but alas floor 39 brought down my coins and health.

Floor 40 was mostly uneventful. I didn’t get enough coins to buy much at the last shop of the game, but I made it through alive.

My poor Xiaomi Mi Band 7 fell from my wrist this morning and is beyond repair. I wasn’t able to find a replacement (Band 8) that I could be confident would reach me before I travel next week so I have a cheap watch on the way to me as a stopgap. I’m debating whether to go with another Mi Band or try wear os again for my next watch.

Floor 41 of this Paper App Dungeon nearly did me in. I was left with 1 coin and 1 HP. The final 4 floors will be tough to get through without at least one death.

10 years ago today Tonet and I visited La Mesa Ecopark a week before our wedding. I remember it as a particularly peaceful place.

My rolls on floor 42 were lucky enough so I survived and gained back a few HP.

I got my new sub-$25 CAD watch today and got it set up quickly. Of course, I had to change the face.

We stopped by Bluenose II on our way to the Seaport Farmers’ Market this morning. Having the giant dime was a nice way to give Celestine some context for the significance of the ship.

These statues at the waterfront seem to be a celebration of backsides; their fronts are flat mirrors.

At the waterfront we stopped to take a photo at the Maud Lewis frame and Celestine had a swing in the hammock.
