I was kept busy again this past week, but found time to share about a mural and a seagull, and boost some gems.

On the weekend I was able to visit one of the new flower thief murals by Anya Kazimierski. The series is a highlight of the Quinpool murals from Halifax Mural Festival.

Menomena have now re-released three albums this year with extra tracks. They’re all fantastic experiences. Moms in particular is an engrossing, weird one.

I’ve been playing through the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening ahead of the next game in the series arriving next month. The original Game Boy game was a formative gaming experience for me when I was a kid, and it’s a joy to see that world with refreshed visuals.

We’ve had a family of seagulls nesting on the roof of the building where I work. Today this young one was hanging around the car charger while their parent encouraged them to take flight.
