Yeah, they were covering the windows last night. Fitting since it was the first day of June. They are the most disgusting insect, yet it’s not like they bite or harm us, they just look ugly and big. lol
It was nice talking to Ashley for a bit longer than we have been able to lately. 😀 Hearing her voice is always wonderful. It’s just too sweet.
I’m really liking the new Our Lady Peace single, “Somewhere Out There”. A lot of their fans that I know don’t like it as much as their older songs but I certainly do. I can’t wait to see them in a few weeks! 😀 I think when I saw them before Smahing Pumpkins I forgot too much about the show to really appreciate it since the pumpkins are a much better live band. Come on, when you’re in a A Perfect Circle – Foo Fighters – Smashing Pumpkins concert sandwich it’s gotta be hard to compete, right? I miss the pit! There’s just something unique about being around thousands of people as into the music as you are… I don’t know if it’s like this in other places but the pits in Halifax have a sense of community in a way, with most people looking out for the others, not letting surfers fall on people’s heads(I have had that occur too often for my tastes despiite this).
So Sascha won’t be visiting today. He called Greg(Ilea’s bf) to tell him he won’t be… I’ll need to talk to him later to see why… He likely had to do something with his family though.
