A light shadow in the window
Sheilding from the brightening sun
Waking eyes behind tight closed lids
Lowering a mind back to sleep
Soft tapping fingers shake the glass
The sound pulls curtains from his eyes
As his vision clears, Roth sees her
Perched on the limb of an old oak
True smiles appear as reflections
A mere beat of light separates
The easy movement of deep drops
Collectors of the scattered light
He lifts the pane and she crawls in
Her warmth filling his room and mind
Hands and eyes, fingertips and thoughts
Voiceless messages fly between
A silent house withdraws from them
Moving the cold, closed rooms away
Only a cloud of sunlight stays
To hold the two locked in embrace
The sweetest voice radiates out
Swift from her mouth toward his ears
A fresh whisper energizing
Thier lips freeing only two names
Grania and Roth, the words echo
And ripple with the unspoken
As walls reappear around them
They open the door to hallways
