Dreamer’s Dreams

Tom Cochrane is amazing. 🙂 Such a great songwriter….I have all his songs playing now…

“Danger… She just wants to be happy now, she’s living on the street, flowers in the concrete, with a beatiful beat, flowers in the concrete… Walking on lines of poetry, she’s a Shakespearian tragedy, between the beatniks and bums, bohemians, there’s always somebody on the run, trying to get away from that danger, she’s just trying to get away from the stranger… … …She dances on the pavement, like she’s the only one who’s a stranger, the cloud’s dark, she starts to cry, you’ve got to do the weirdest things just to stay alive, I’m doing down to meet my fate, I’ve got Jesus, savior’s sign, maybe get lucky, maybe find a smile… …” Tom Cochrane – Flowers In The Concrete
