Tonight we looked at a few places all rented by the same woman and found a very nice place that’ll be pretty much perfect for Nathan, one other person and myself. It has 3 rooms(for Nathan, his friend Robert and I), washroom, kitchen, a good sized living room / dining room… very clean and a good size… a very decent price and a good location. It’s just a few minutes from Halifax Shopping Center and has a bus stop at the end of the road we’ll be living on… The only thing we have to do now other than get the last things we’ll need to live there, pay the deposit and rent and set up things like net access and electricity is to confirm that Robert and possibly his friend Chris want to join us(they said they are interested and might check it out tomorrow). Even if he didn’t we can find a third roommate fairly easily. 😀 If we get the two others our rent + utils. will be $250ish… if just three it’ll be $300 – 350… not bad at all no matter how you look at it…. On the same budget of about $750 / month from last year at Dal I’ll have plenty for food and necessities… And if I find a good job I can stay in Halifax for the summer and not have to return to the sticks!!! 😀 Woo!
It’s such a relief to finally have a place confirmed… And a nice + cheap place at that! 😀

Congratulations! That’s a nice area of the city to live in and if the Bus #80 stops at that bus stop that will take you almost all the way to Dal.
Thanks 🙂 I thought it seemed like a great area… There is going to be a bus that’ll take me to near the Physics building, I think. Anyway, it’s the nicest place I’ve seen so far so I’m happy.
