Well, I went to the Spek concert with Nathan… we got there a little after 10, bought tickets and sat down. For an hour and a half we were able to listen to “chill music” while waiting for Spek to come on.
He did and sadly Deidre wasn’t there. It wasn’t all that surprising, since she hadn’t really enjoyed touring with him… Anyway, the show was pretty good… the place was so empty though! I have never seen the Marquee that empty… considering the headliner had like 4 #1 hits it was really odd… I guess there aren’t many hip hop fans in Halifax… Spek did his usual show, even complaining about how comatose the audience was… The last two songs, “I’m a Hippie” and “Smell The Coffee” were the highlights, for sure. “Smell The Coffee” is far too catchy…
After Spek finished we left and walked to the McDonald’s for burgers and fries… Then came home.
