…we are, we are all innocent…

I just finished talking to Ashley’s mother. As nervous as I was before calling her, it was really not bad at all. I called her and asked “Is this Ashley’s mom?”, she said “Yes” and we talked from there… I’m sure my nervousness showed a lot, especially in my one word answers that filled up most of my side of the conversation. I hope she didn’t mind that too much. We talked about Ashley coming here, my family, what it’s like here, why I like her, and the chances that her parents will allow her to come here. I think it went quite well. I’m sure there’s something I should have mentioned, but nervousness or something else kept it from my mind. She seemed to be responding to it all quite positively so hopefully this will all work out. *fingers crossed*
