Since the last post I’ve had a pretty good day.
I met Mark in the FASS after walking aimlessly around it for 15 minutes. There are far too many study areas in it. I observed him code until John arrived and then we walked to CS for a “CStah Fiesta”, as Mark likes to call the time spent there in class and doing very little.
After class I went upstairs to see if the MSDN AA was open, but they are only open a few hours a day, it seems. I had hoped to get a Windows XP CD and key, but I guess that will have to wait until Friday.
Then we met with Janet and a guy from one of Mark’s classes behind the CS building. Mark and “guy” started work on a presentaion, so I went up to the 3rd floor again to check the MSDN AA one last time.
On my way back down, two girls ran across the CS lobby and said something like the following: “We see you here all the time, and you look exactly like someone we know. He even has the same hair and trench. You really do look like him. What’s your name?” lol I answered and tried my best to politely say “bye”.
Back at “ground zero”, John and Janet had arrived so I told them about the amusing incident. We can’t figure out how anyone could look much like me. I guess those two girls are just strange. 😛
Then we walked to the library so that Janet could get a copy of The Odyssey for her myth class… And after that we hung out in the Grad House drinking coffee and using Mark’s laptop until we all had to leave.
I came home,watched a few minutes of the LotR DVD that Nathan got this morning. It looks really great from what I’ve seen. The extras are fantastic.
😀 I was soon talking to Ashley and I spent most of the night talking to her, except for when my net dropped, and when I’m assuming hers did too.O:) I even talked to her on the phone for a minute or two.
Just over 3 weeks until she will be here(hopefully)!! 😀 I’ll be counting the days, hours and minutes as time nears when she’ll be stepping off the plane. O:-)
Oh, my first ebay auction was sold today. I’m just waiting for payment. ) Hopefully the rest will all get bids by the time they end tomorrow. *fingers crossed*
My dad just e-mailed me and he’ll be here on Friday at 6 or 6:30 to drop off some mail for me… He’s going to a Mooseheads game with my uncle Larry.
I’ll be going to Dal early tomorrow to work on the assignment that was due today with Mark. I hope Keast will accept it since he wasn’t there today. He is a prick most times though!
