Well, I installed XP this morning and it seems to be working well now. I’ll connect to the net and network once I get home to test that out and hopefully talk to Ashley before I need to meet Ilea and Mom. XP has some nice features and some ugly ones, but overall it’s growing on me. I’ll have to update some drivers and such things once I have access to the net, and also transfer some files from the shared folder on Nathan’s PC when I get home for everything to be ready.
My last class is in 15 minutes so I’ll be home by 3. 🙂

i have XP on my thinkpad…i like it for everything except finding programs because a lot dont work for XP..besides that i love it when it tells me i have new updates to install, the options of views for folders…arranges my start menus in a way that only things i use often appear…and it tells me when i dont use icons on my desktop so it will remove them if i want….etc/etc..
i like the old fashion type look when it goes through scandisk as well…heh

I’ve had only one program not work from before, so I’m happy with compatibility. ME already did the updte thing, so that’s nothing new to me… I dislike the new folder views myself… they seem cluttered… and I disabled the new start menu look because it looks ugly to me.
and active desktop is not as functional 🙁 It was the best part of ME for me.
And I will never use the bulky new start bar. It’s classic for me.
