Yes, POE FUCKING RULES!!!!
In December I won an auction at http://www.p-o-e.com for an autographed forest green Poe shirt from her 1997 tour and won. Today the Fed Ex woman delivered the package at last. I opened it and was very pleasantly surprised! 😀
Taped onto a blue tissue paper package inside the Fed Ex box was a small jar. The tape securing it to the package said, For: Apollo :heart: POE 😀
I carefully peeled that tape off and looked at the bottle… on the outside there was a piece of brown paper with the words “feel the new”… on the inside were coffee beans and a rolled up piece of paper, like a treasure map from some tale of pirates… I tapped out each bean onto a table and then the paper fell out.. I slipped the string holding it in the roll off and unrolled it. Inside were the words: “APOLLO RULES :heart: POE” and a bunch of “x o x o”‘s…
Next was the package itself… Inside was the great green t-shirt… it’s even better than I expected! Very crisp and tape-like… and POE signed it with a silver pen, quoting a famous line from one of her songs… “I WANNA BLOW YOU… AWAY!” 😀
So I’m damn happy! 😀

I have not yet met Poe in person because she hasn’t been in my neck of the woods yet. However, my friends who have met her all say she’s awesome!
