wet, wet, wet

“Ba da pa pa”

I just stepped inside after returning home from the meeting. Freezing rain = fun.

The meeting with my group went well… the other three that showed up seemed like good people. We actually made a lot of progress and even talked socially some. Rami, one on the other members is originally from Iraq. It was interesting to hear him talk about a place so fondly, even though if he returns he will face the death penalty because he did not attend manditory military service. He invited Mike, Alexa and I(the rest of the group) to a banquet/party/dance thing put on by the Arabic society here. I may actually attend it, since I am rather intersted in their cultures. Come on, there will be an “Iraqi Boot Dance”, so it has to be a good time! 😉

Slush and water, snow and ice, hair and feet wet, a wonderful day in Halifax.
