I’m back in rural Nova Scotia and far from my favorite place to live. It’s not that bad here, just isolated. I’ll likely get my bike out and start doing more active things beginning tomorrow.
I still have tons of things to unpack, posters to place on my wall, holes to drill for network lines, things to break to the folks, and who knows what else before I can settle in for the coming 4 months.
My father and I talked a lot on the drive home about political and economical things. Thats one thing I respect about him, that he’s willing to discuss things like that, and often is able to see what IO’m saying, even if he disagrees sometimes. I will enter politics as soon as I’m able. I think that’s something I’ll have to do in my grand plan to change the world. Prime Minister Apollo Christ has a nice ring to it, no? 😉 Now I just need a good party name and a few thousand members. Gotta work within the system to destroy it, afterall.
With luck Ashley will be here in just a little over a month. I’m very excited about that, of course. I really can’t wait to be with her again, and spending a few weeks with her will be so wonderful. Hopfully it will warm up enough by the first of June for us to do some things outside and maybe see some of the sights of Nova Scotia.
I’m listening to Collective Soul, my favorite band, right now. I haven’t listened to them in a few weeks, but I’m always reminded of how much they mean to me every time I sit down and put on their albums. The new one will be out this year, and I really can’t wait. It’s been far too long between albums for a band that released 6 in 7 years.
“Out of sight, beyond confusion, still I’m here defining my own truth, Paranoia by conclusion, what’s the point if I’m still missing you?”

When you get to be Prime Minister, can I be the Secretary of something?? 🙂
For sure! What would you want to be?
mmmm…. Education?
oh wait, thats a minister isnt it… 😛
well, if you want to answer phones, take notes, write letters, etc. too that’s fine. 😉
arg, no thanks! 🙂
I’ll take which ever lets me do more! lol
guess I should learn about the position a bit first, eh?
might be a wise choice 😉
ok then 🙂
That is one of the most important roles, but I’m sure you can handle it.

yeah, i know what you mean…it wasn’t until i was reading your entries today and seeing the “over tokyo” one that reminded me how appropriate it feels for my mood today. I haven’t listened to any music lately for a long time now… all its been is just my old history of music thing, so boring. I really need a break from my music studies. I’m going to take some time and reaquaint myself with my collective soul tunes for a while.. maybe that’ll get me out of this slump i’m in. I remember the feeling of being freed of my emotions while i listen to them… ah.. for old times sake. 😀 thanks apollo
Re: listening to collective soul
😀 I’m glad I could get you back to listening to CS, if only for a short while.
I know their music always makes for good listening whenever I’m feeling down.
I hope it helps you some.
