Tonight I finished The Wood Wife by Terri Windling. It’s a great read, and I hope some of you will seek it out.
I’ve also done some writing… not as much as I would like, but it’s progress none the less.
This song is so beautiful! You all should go download it right now. Matthew Sweet is seriously one of the best songwriters of the past half century and Blue Sky On Mars is one of the most overlooked albums.
I’ll be choosing a new book to read tonight. In the final two places are taken up by Charles de Lint’s earlier works. Angel of Darkness and Into The Green should both be good reads. The question is whether I want a darker urban fantasy or a lighter folklore-based story. I’m actually leaning toward the former, surprisingly.

What’s it about?
It’s a story set in the desert outside of Tuscon. Basicly it’s about art and spirituality. It’s what would be called urban fantasy if it wasn’t set in a desert. It has spirits and such things, but it’s a very human story.
Sounds interesting. I’ll have to check it out. 🙂
🙂 You really should!
I really have to get myself some Charles de Lint. Right now I am actually reading some Tom Clancey. I never thought he would be, but he is a really good writer. If you ever want to read some good war/covert Ops stuff he is the guy to read.
You really do need to read Charles de Lint mighty badly. I’ve heard Tom Clancey is good, but he’s really not in the veins I enjoy reading.
