The First Day

Today was the first day of a week during which I won’t be able to talk to Ashley. It’ll cetainly be hard, and I know I’ll be missing her a lot.
I worked.
In my boredom I finished the last Metroid game I hadn’t, Metroid 3: Super Metroid.
I slept from 7 – 10:30 because I could.
Tomorrow is Ilea’s prom so there’ll be a big ‘ole to-do about that.
Of course my father will insist that I help all day with yard work instead of having a weekend. I mean, damn, I don’t even have the time to clean my room and do laundry when I’ve gotta work 6 days a week.

The Thorns on CBS “Late Late” @ 1:30 AST -> CHECK IT OUT!

I must do some reading tonight before sleeping… I’ve not been able to this week

    Lucky You…
    try 2 times a week for 6 months….
    *sigh*
I hate the thought and the fact of being so far away from the people that we love…
    its stupid!
    *aahhhh*
    Sorry…
i am just really frustrated right now…

    1. Yeah, that certainly has to suck.

But whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger or some such bullshit.

I hope the time away from the people we love will go better than we think at any rate.

  2. I feel for you not being able to talk to Ashley. That’s so rough. But she’ll be visiting you soon. I’m so happy you guys finally get to see each other again, and I really hope I get to meet her!!

I wish I had cable to see The Thorns. I have been listening to that CD in the store a lot lately. I think I actually might buy it if I ever have spare cash

    1. I really hope you’ll be able to meet Ashley then too! 🙂

I actually missed taping their performance because *a certain sibling of mine* decided to switch the satellite to NBC. 🙁

I have $40 extra dollars here for the new Live album and The Thorns one as well… Now I just have to wait until I can get to a CD store.

      1. ack! the live album is also wonderful! I think it’s their best since Throwing Copper in all honesty. I mean, Overcome from the last album was great, and the singles have been typically good as well, but nothing really stood out like Selling the Drama or I Alone. This album has definate potential to become of of my favorites…
