I’ve been sorting and filing away all the books I have (including my father’s library of sci-fi novels) for most of the day. It’s a surprisingly enjoyable way to spen a Saturday. Perhaps that’s merely proof of my status as a book worm, but it’s true none-the-less. I now have an entire box filled with books I must read and I still have two more large storage boxes to file.
It’s less than a month until I will be returning to the city and my apartment. I have missed both, and I will definitely enjoy being able to experience urban life again. I’ll miss the trees and my family, but the city has so much to offer.
I have a few job leads already. I’ll definitelybe trying to land a job at a hospital, since that’s one place I believe I would appreciate spending time at, and which would give me a sense of doing good for others while allowing me to eat and pay my rent. Having connections and good references will definitely help get whatever job I end up with.
I am always in awe of the beauty of music. It’s one of the most emotive forms of expression we have, far surpassing normal speach and visual expression in its immediacy and power. I could sit all day and just feel music.
My blankets still smell like Ashley, and they are so comforting as I sit here missing her. My space is always less when the people I love are absent from it. With her I was in a forest haven, on a crashing wave journey and a heaven of breath. It was wonderful in the fullest meaning of the word.

Tori is great. 🙂
“dorm”? I don’t think I’ve heard that term used for anything other than a university living quarters. What does it mean in this context?
