I installed a gadget in my journal that will let me know through what site people are directed to my journal. It was interesting to discover some of them. The most unusual was that someone searched on Google for “walmart truro store nova scotia” and came across this entry. I wonder what that person thought when they discovered I wasn’t speaking very highly of that high hound of capitalism.
Summers tend to be times of greatest change for me. It seems I always have a quick-evolution each year. I’m not sure if this has happened yet this year. Yes, I’ve been changing and growing, but it doesn’t seem to be at quite the same speed.
I have stories ready to write, and they are weaving together faster than I expected. They were always to intersect, but the reasons why, and the ways they will do so are becoming clear. I must get them out once the berries are free from the fields.
Ashley’s away in Florida with the intent to enjoy the beach. I miss her, of course, but I’m glad she will be able to go there. She has often told me how much she enjoys the ocean.
That makes me remember the day we went to Dollar Lake together and swam while it rained. That was definitely a very pleasant swim.
There is so much to do in the coming days. I must try to manage my time well. It will definitely be hard with my evenings taken away. I will at least have ebay items ready to send tomorrow.
More and more I’m wanting to return to my apartment. I long to be back in the city and take up root in the concrete. I need to return to that diversity. Being around people from many cultures is refreshing and exciting.
I have decided to part with some of my books. They will be added to Book Crossing and released into the world for others to enjoy. They will not be my most treasured books, but rather some I have read and do not feel the need to hold on to or reread.
