You Have Been Chosen

It’s been a day of ups and downs, to be sure.

Nathan and I met Wanda in the mall around three and then hopped on a bus for downtown. There we went to Random Play and discovered that April had not yet arrived. After some time spent in the store without April, she did arrive at last. From the store we went to a couple other places and then to H.S.C. Orgasmic ice cream was consumed and Wanda missed her bus before I came back here.

What did I discover when I returned back here? My phone is not getting a signal. I’m hoping it’s some Telus network problem, but I fear it may be disconnected because I have not yet received and submitted the form to renew my contract with the company. I should still be on a month-to-month plan no matter what, but I will have to look into things tomorrow after my interview.

I’m in a very unpleasant mood that combines aprehension, nervousness, doubt, and a handful of other negative emotions. I’m hoping I can have it all under control tomorrow morning and that all goes well then. Please keep your fingers crossed and your thoughts positive for me. I may need all the help I can get.

Oh, I forgot to mention that Wanda gave me a Foamy Card Cult card from Ill Will Press today. You should all check it out, if only for a laugh.

I must be up in the early hours, so this is goodnight.

  1. I am so sorry if I added to your negative feeling with my whining. I really need to learn to keep that shit to myself. There is nothing you can do, so there is really no point. Blah.

Anyway, I wish you the best in your job interview tomorrow. I’m sure you’ll do great! Hope you get the job!

    1. No, it’s fine. I would not be a good friend if I wasn’t willing to listen to a bit of whining. The trouble was certainly not related to you, though it does upset me to see my disciple unhappy.

      Thanks! 3.5 hours to go.
