Digital Napsack 007

Yesterday and today were rather enjoyable. Wednesday was another day of hanging out with Wanda and April. We took part in the usual activities and added some unique occurances. Wanda brought April, Nathan and I presents, and I had cards for both her and April.
The present I received from Wanda was very nice. Not only did it hold candy and have a nifty tag, but it also held a white duck! It’s a truly great duck, and referenced something Wanda and I decided several months ago, that ducks must be our gods. I of course love the present Wanda gave me, and the duck will live happily in my box of treasures.
Poor April lost her present from Wanda while we were in Park Lane. We looked high and low with no success. The thief left only an oragami swan made by Nathan to mark her thieving trail.
Eventually we all boarded a number eighty and headed home. April, Nathan and I said goodbye to Wanda at our stop and then headed back here. The three of us ended up hanging out most of the night, and April made use of our fouton.

I spent a good portion of today talking with my new friend Mandy. I really enjoyed talking with her about the various things we did. I definitely meet the nicest folks through the the Poe message board.

  1. May be of interest to you as a duck worshipper:

THis summer I heard an interview on CBC with this guy who studies oceanic weather patterns, and as a hobby he uses his equipment to monitor these toy ducks that were spilled in to the ocean years ago. Something like 50 000 of these things were lost when a ship went down, and now supposedly if you find one there’s a 100$ prize if you return it to the company. Maybe you should keep on the lookout, seeing as you live on the Coast and all.
