Digital Napsack 012

I checked the mail this afternoon to discover I had received another Christmas card, this time from Mandy. It’s a rather nice card, as you can see in the images above. It even had silver stars inside. Silver stars have quite a lot of sentimental meaning for me, dating back to the days when I used to attend Sunday school at the church in Dean. I can remember some of the fonder moments, and some of the ones I look back on with mixed emotions. Thank you Mandy for the card and the nice little trip down memory lane it induced.
On the back of the card I noticed that it was painted by Janice Peroni, a woman who lost mobility due to paralysis and made as a fundraiser for C.R.P.F. (Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation). Through the past several years I have learned a lot about conditions of paralysis and witnessed my uncle Larry’s struggles and victories with it. I know quite well the importance of organizations such as C.R.P.F. and the very positive impact they can have on the lives of those who are inflicted with paralysis and thier loved ones. It’s a very noble cause, and I would definitely encourage any of you who can to support it.

  1. You’re very welcome for the card, Apollo.
    *really big hug*

The C.R.P.F. is one of my favorite charities and one of the reasons I wish poor people with good intentions (like you and I) would be blessed with more money!

Janice Peroni’s artwork reminds me that there is still a lot that I can do, no matter how ill I may be, and to be grateful that I still have most of my mobility.

As for the stars, I love stickers, as you can see. I also gave you a Frozen(Truth) snowflake, see? *points to your name on card*

    1. 😀 *huge hug*

Yes, organizations such as C.R.P.F. definitely deserve as much support as they can get.

Any art that is inspired and created through hardship always seems more inspiring to me. If only I could allow it to motivate myself to write more.

Yes, I did notice the snowflake 🙂 I didn’t, however, pick up that i was referring to my name.

Yes, stickers are great, My laptop is covered with them.
