In 48 days it will be my birthday. I’ve been informed that I must prepare a birthday / Christmas list soon. I’d like to know if there are any albums or books that you would suggest I add to the list. (There’s little else I would want, to be honest, since I’m trying to reduce my possessions) I’m going to make the shopping easy for my parents and put most of the list in an Amazon.ca wish list, so if you want to provide a link to there that’d be great. Also, I prefer to purchase books in digital form (for my Clie, a Palm device), so if you know of any good ebooks let me know. Suggest away.
Phillip Lopate’s The Art of the Personal Essay is a current front runner on my books list.
