    1. It’s just a bit of nostalgia, really. Ace of Base can be enjoyable at times, especially their first album. I have a wide taste, though, so anything can fall onto my playlist.

      1. Oh, it’s definitely a nostalgia thing for me, too. I have lots of memories attached to their first album. I get teased mercilessly for that, though : P

  1. Well, lets see… Naked, Black Balloon, Cuz You’re Gone (of course), Sympathy, January Friend, Broadway and Iris (with the sing-a-long) come to mind. I enjoyed all the fan interaction bits. Do you have a list?

  2. “Life is demanding without understanding
I saw the sign and it opened up my eyes I saw the sign
No one’s gonna drag you up to get into the light where you belong
    But where do you belong?”

Sadly, I can remember it word-for-word. I must have heard it 100 times in the summer of 1994 as I traversed the continent.

  3. It’s a shame we didn’t know each other back then, isn’t it? We could have reveled in our music-geekery together ; )

Hey, some of those songs are insanely catchy, and I make no apologies for liking them! They’re not deep or profound by any means, but they’re fun, and it’s good just to have fun sometimes.
