Our friends at Sustainable Style have a new issue of SASS magazine out, this time sort-of focused on overpopulation. It also includes an article which I now regard as the last word in bunny-owner education, if only for sharing with us this paragraph:
The biggest obstacles bunnies face are their biology. Rabbits that aren’t neutered are prone to aggressive sexual behavior, digging, scratching and more general hell raising than their “fixed” friends. A neutered bunny is another creature altogether, with a sunnier disposition and ability to be trained. Bunnies apparently find relief in not being solely motivated by the urge to hump everything in sight, and achieve a Zen-like existence with fellow bunny and human friends.
The issue’s worth a read, but that last sentence is priceless.
