Canada Plans P2P and file-sharing Crackdown

  1. Man that’s bullshit. Just because I download music doesn’t mean I stop buying CD’s, and besides, it’s not as if any of the money made on the CD even makes it to the artist, it’s all gobbled up by management! It’s not keeping the music industry going, it’s keeping the record labels going! Which, might I add, are all owned by big American coroporations so it’s not like they’re in any trouble!

    “Terrific news” indeed. Asshat.

    1. Yeah, for sure. My music budget has risen due to filesharing. There are quite a few albums I would not have bought if I did not hear them first.

I’m all for protecting artists, but punishing music lovers is not the answer, it just makes me not want to give my money to a record company that would opt to do so.
