  1. whooooaaa, that is surreal. you could even see the shed in my backyard. now i can’t get it to work again to link it though.

it was pointing to the house next door, though, not to mine. still freaky because it was definitely my house.

      1. yeah, just figured it out. i can’t tell how recent they are because alot of the new developements around here aren’t on there [new fast food joints and the like and the warehouse where i work neither]. i would have thought they’d be fairly recent, but it isn’t looking like that to me.

  2. I’m addicted to this site as well. I’ve been looking at maps of Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Toronto, Boston–you name it!

Anyway, I know exactly where you live. That’s the road my family takes when we come into the city from Bridgewater before getting onto the rotary.

    1. I wouldn’t say I’m addicted to it. I was at the site for five minutes, saw that it showed my location and was done. I can see the site being useful but after a while the shots bore me.

Well, I sure hope you won’t try to stalk me or something.

      1. I don’t know what it is but its fun to look at a place I’ve never been and imagine what it would be like in real life. Its probably just because I’ve never left Canada.

No, I have better things to do than stalk Livejournal people. Well, actually I don’t just take my word for it.

        1. I’ve only been to the U.S. and other parts of Canada. I just find photos give little sense of what it’s like in other places and the Google ones are a bit ugly, I find.

Now that I think of it, having a harmless stalker might make life more interesting. So you don’t have anything better to do? …

          1. Haha–not that I’d ever stalk a Livejournal person but it’s always funny to walk through SMU / DAL / Spring Garden / Halifax and think: “hey, isn’t that [insert username here]” as people walk by.

Actually a few LJ people have been commenting a lot and saying they’ve seen me in Second Cup 😐

  3. I can only get a faraway view of Lajas, but it was impressive to see that much greenery all in one place! Most of Lajas is farmland, but I forget that because we never drive out that way. Downtown looks like a speck! ^_^
