From time to time I attempt to write about myself so that whoever stubles upon my site can learn more about me more quickly than reading each of my entries. I usually find it a very tedious process, mostly because I don’t like writing about myself. There are so many more worthy topics, I assure you. If you have a question or aspect of myself you think I should add to this, please let me know.

Inside jokes certainly do rock. That’s an ancient one… from way back in high school.
I’m glad you enjoyed reading it.
Oh you are especially special, but for other reasons. Actually, you’re among the elite who call me saviour instead of Jesus.
Oh, you should have seen when I was “The Bluehaired Jesus”!
There, you’ve been bombarded with more photos of me than anyone should be subjected to. π
Autumn is my favorite season, too. I miss the leaves changing a lot more than I miss the snow.
*tries to shoot hurricane season and misses*
It’s good to see that you’re back online. How is everything with your ISP and your new job?
It’s good to be back online.
My ISP had disconnected us in error. They mistook our account for one that hadn’t been paid. I couldn’t believe it took a week to realize their mistake.
I think I’ve lost the job, actually, because of the down time.
Oh no!!! That really is awful luck.
Hey.
Oooo, yes, add me!
Re: Hey.
You have been added.
Hey, I just came across your community and I saw that you live in Halifax and like a lot of the music I do! I’ll add you:)
I’ve added you as well. Welcome.
Mind if I add you, as well? You seem interesting, and your taste in music and reading material seems exceptional. (Of course, that just means that you like a lot of the same stuff I do. I like to think that I have pretty good taste, but maybe that’s just me.)
Sure, please feel free. I’ll add you as well.
Well, we both have exceptional taste, it seems.
Welcome.
I absolutely agree! However, I noticed that Jeff Buckley isn’t on your list. Hmm. Something tells me you’d also like Veda Hille, and possibly My Brilliant Beast.
You know, when I add someone, I usually take a look through some of their older entries. You remind me a lot of, only younger. Something tells me that if the three of us ever met, we’d have no shortage of things to talk about. I may have to point him in your direction : )
I do enjoy Jeff Buckley, but I haven’t yet gotten around to picking up his albums.
I haven’t heard of Veda Hille or My Brilliant Beast but I’ll look for them.
From what I can see from‘s profile, it does seem we have a bit in common. In what ways did you find us similar?
Definitely pick up some of Jeff’s CDs one of these days, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. Veda and My Brilliant Beast are both a little harder to find, which is unfortunate ’cause they’re both really good (in my opinion, at least), and Canadian as well : )
There were quite a few of your entries that really felt like they could’ve been written by Matt. You have similar political views and personal philosophies (I think), and could probably get into very in-depth conversations regarding spirituality. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if people often tease you about being too serious and “thinking too much.” Matt hears that a lot from people, but he’s definitely got a fun-loving and silly side, which I’m sure you do, too : )
You also kind of remind me of Chase Hampton, but I think that’s just the hair. (I’m probably going to get teased about that, but oh well.)
Well, I’ve never been accused of thinking too much, and being teased in general, other than good-naturedly from good friends, is a thing of the past for me. I suppose it may just be where and around who I choose to be, though. I have a good deal of levity in my life, and I hope that comes through in my entries.
Who is Chase Hampton? I don’t believe I’ve ever heard of such a person.
You must surround yourself with good people, then. I’ve always found it’s hard for old souls to find a place where they fit in… but who wants to fit in, anyway? : )
I’ve been told I think too much, and it’s a really baffling statement to me. Far too many people don’t think enough, I find. Not nearly as much as they should. Many people are content to accept things at face value, and never ask questions or challenge themselves. I don’t think I could live like that. Not happily, anyway.
As for Chase, he’s the lead singer in a band called Buzzfly. Should be easy to figure out which one he is : )
Yeah, one of my greatest strengths is my amazing taste in friends.
We all need communities, the key is to build ones that are enriching and which we don’t need to compromise our ideals to be a part of. I’ve been lucky.
I believe everyone things about the same amount, it’s the quality of thought that matters. If we don’t push ourselves and question what we believe we just stagnate.
Hi. π I’m a friend of Alisha’s and she’s mentioned a few times I should add you, and I just thought about it. You seem interesting, and you are cute π so if you don’t mind, I added you.
I just added you as well.
And thanks for considering me cute, though I think that does mean you need corrective eyewear. π
I just saw you arguing with that annoying conservative in, and decided to check out your journal. Not much public to see, but you seem neat. So I’m adding you.
Welcome.
I keep a public journal at http://www.frozentruth.com. This one’s a bit more open to short mentions and the occasional personal matter so I keep it friends-only.
I’ll add you as well.
I feel as though I already know you in a round about way, seeing as we both have a very wonderful friend (well, several, actually) in common.
I’m going to add you to my friends list and hope you return the favor.
-Tracie
Hi Tracie, I’m glad you decided to add me; I’ve heard only good things about you. I’ve added you in return. Welcome. π
Hi there from an odd random stranger! I come to you by way of who recommended you to me as a friend. I was wondering if it would be all right if I added you.
: )
Welcome. π
Feel free to add me. I’ve done so with your journal as well.
