I’ve been thinking of where and when to take a trip this year and I’m not strongly considering going to Burning Man, if I can get time off at the end of August / early September. The flight and ticket to the event would be around $1200 CDN, plus expenses, so I think I can pull it off. Would anyone else be interested in going, whether leaving here with me or meeting up there? Please do let me know.

ahh and looking back at your original entry : when you say plus expenses, keep in mind that you dont spend any money while you’r ethere… BM has that advantage over any other trip … i mean just think about the money you would spend in that week just kicking around, doing whatev. at home…. of course there’s supplies, food, water, etc to haul in/ haul out of there, but still …
Yeah, by expenses I did mean supplies and such.
Burning man is something I’ve been itching to attend since I first heard of it when I was 12 years old. Taking a plane would feel like cheating though. If I ever go it will be in a car full of people or by thumb.
I won’t have weeks to spare in getting there, so a plane will have to do for the first time.
