I relished games, nature, and art this week, boosting some lovely things alongside sharing what I was up to.

I built a set of spell cards for my character Bamfi, an Aasimar Psi Warper Psion, for the D&D 5.5E game I play in.
SpellCards.app made it an enjoyable experience. Being able to create custom spells allowed me to make cards for abilities and modify the spell cards to reflect the impact my class has on those spells.
Now I want to have more of the contents of my character sheet as cards.
I used SpellCards.app to create cards for my magic items and summonable monsters, but also snuck in some other parts of my character sheet so that I have only a few aspects of my character I don’t yet have in card format.
I cut and sleeved the cards to represent all aspects of my D&D 5.5E character Bamfi. Hopefully playing D&D tomorrow will be more manageable without needing to flip through pages of abilities and spells.
I’ve started using MistyWay to track my steps and follow a story that shamelessly mirrors Lord of the Rings. It has a lovely, if derivative, aesthetic and is gentle with in its motivation. If you’re using it too, join me on the journey.

There are a few concurrent festivals around the Halifax waterfront this weekend, and I was happy to watch Shannon Long working on a selkie mural as part of Halifax Mural Festival while listening to distant jazz from Halifax Jazz Festival when we visited today.
