I just watched the director’s cut version of the Try Try Try video by the Smashing Pumpkins. I was very touching and disturbing…. I really don’t know how to react to it…. it was beautiful and ugly all at once…. I love the song, it’s one of my favorites for sure…. but the video just made it have new meaning…. it chronicled two street people’s day…. at the end they were shooting up and the girl had an miscarriage…. and then the guy ran to the hospital to be with her…. yet he had also sold her into prostitution….. and then the family scene was just totally disturbing…. hmmm…..
