Hello everyone, I am still alive.
lol Yesterday was the first day since October that I didn’t post anything. With good reason though. 🙂
Yesterday I went shopping with my parents… did the last of my Christmas shopping… and then we went to see the greatest movie I have ever seen!
Lord of the Rings was such an amazing movie. Casting: Perfect, Scenery/Props/Architecture/Places: Perfect, Special Effects: Wonderful, Movie: Best Ever!
lol It was great. Followed the book very well and aside from a few overdone elements, such as Galadriel’s Dark Queen monologue(her change in appearance seemed odd to me) and Saruman talking to the orcs, is was as good as it could possibly have been. It really looked and felt like I remember seeing the book. Arwen and Gandolf were the closest, I think.
The movie seemed nowhere near the 3 hours it took in the real world. I swear 3 hours has never passed as fluidly for me. You all need to see this film, no one should miss seeing it on the big screen, it is the type of film that theatres were made for. It’s truly the best I have ever seen. A year until the next movie in the trilogy… far too long a wait.
I kept thinking of Ashley yesterday though, as always. I miss her a lot… Christmas Night can’t come soon enough…
