Well, I’m reading a Charles de Lint book now… it’s titled Jack of Kinrowan and it collects the two novels Jack, the Giant Killer and Drink Down the Moon. It’s very interesting, especially since it is set in Ottawa, I place I have been before and can thus recognize the places mentioned and have a better picture in my head of it… :-)….

Yhea for Canadian novelists in general, and yea for ones who use Canada as their setting. Now we just need some urban fantasy set in Halifax ^^.
🙂 yes, yay for both of those!lol I actually had plans to start a urban fantasy set in Halifax… I haven’t gotten around to writing it yet but I have a story and characters…
Very cool, if you ever post it soemwhere let me know so I can read it ^^ . Everytime I try to write some urban fantasy, I get distracted by a project that’s set in some fantasy world.
yeah, I have one major epic in the works in a fantasy world and the rest are all urban fantasy… one is actually going to be set in rural Nova Scotia and then move to Halifax so I suppose I have two UF’s set in Halifax… I really prefer UF’s a lot now…
Oh, I’ll be sure to post them on Elfwood if they are ever finished… And I’ll be sure to let you know about it…
Cool! I hope Eflwood starts letting people update agian soon …
I didn’t know that they weren’t….
lol we seem to have a lot to say on here… would you happen to have any messengers like AIM, ICQ or MSNso we could talk not on LJ?
alright, that’s cool. I enjoy reading and writing UF’s because I find them more human in many ways… And the constraint of not breaking the rules isn’t much of a problem for me…
I actually chose Halifax for a setting because I thought there were some great places to set the events of my story…
I’ll be looking forward to seeing the comic you are working on… 🙂 What will it be about?
