I’ve survived the stay here at my parents house. :-p Aside from the boredom it really hasn’t been too bad. I fixed a bunch of things on their computer for them(printer, scanner, call manager, etc, etc.) since they have XP and it is so problematic(not very compatable with half the stuff they have, and it even messes up with the LJ client).
It’s been nice having homemade food again and being able to make my own food. Hanging with my folks and sister really hasn’t been too bad, though the constant questions about the computer, my classes and life can become annoying. Not to mention Ilea’s constant “bitch queen” attitude surfacing. It’s more tollerable than usual though. Thankfully I’ve been able to talk to Ashley every night and use our webcams so that has made it a much better stay than I expected. 😀 She is so wonderful. I can’t wait to be back home in Hali so that I can hear her voice again though.
Tomorrow night I should be back home. 🙂
Tuesday I need to get two new CD’s: Lisa Loeb‘s Cake AND Pie and Great Big Sea‘s Sea Of No Cares. I’ve already heard all of the songs on Lisa’s CD and they are really amazing. Of course GBS’s will also be great. I’ve only heard the first single but I know I’ll like it since I have all the other albums and love those.
Not it’s time for me to get some reading done… I’ll be back tonight by at least 10… have a good day everyone.
