Joydrop with Buck65
“A GoldClub Series Event” $12.00 adv – $14 door 10pm
With potent vocals, edgy guitars and a hard-driving rhythm section, JOYDROP is, first and foremost, a rock band. On their debut album, Metasexual, they tap into the timeless sound of rock music with solid songwriting, lucid melodies and memorable hooks, then add a contemporary vocabulary of samples, altered drum sounds and loops. On Viberate, Joydrop’s sophomore album, the adventuresome rock unit exposes the strengths and weaknesses of human nature from the vulnerability of “Swan Song” to the resilience of “Thick Skin” and sheer disgust of “American Dream Girl.”
Formed in 1996 in Toronto, JOYDROP’s sound reflects the divergent backgrounds of its members. It’s a sound exemplified in the band’s name, which drummer Tony Rabalao defines as “a drug, or a candy, or the feeling you get when you’re moved by a person or a thing of beauty.”

Joydrop?
Joydrop is cool… I might check it out. If you want to hear some *awesome* music though, check out superGARAGE and Flush on Saturday night at the Attic. 🙂
Re: Joydrop?
ok, I think I’ve heard of them. I’ll have to check them out sometime.
I have seen Flush a few times, they were supposed to play at one of my gigs, but it never worked out… I really suggest checking them out…
I wish I could see Joydrop, but I don’t want to get a ticket and not be able to get in… besides that, I would love to see Buck 65!
I wish you could go! You still have to visit me someday!
