I got an e-mail from my dad that I just read. 😀 It seems that my cousin Willie and his wife and Kyla are expecting twins. Of course my aunt Gladys was excited about it all. They even opened up their own hair dresser’s shop in the front of the house on Lemmon Hill. Apparantly it looks really good. So there are more things to look forward to when I go home. 🙂 I really like my family. There is no one I don’t really respect and get along with out of all my extended family on my dad’s side. I don’t know my mother’s side as well, since they all live 4 hours away and just aren’t as close.
Someplace to be Flying is a great novel, btw, I’m a little over half way done and it’s sooo good. Charles de Lint is an amazing author… he captures characters so very well, you feel like you know them more than with any other author I’ve ever read.
And Ani DiFranco is really impressing me a lot right now.
