*Huge Grins* Gloom Cookie Rawks!!!!

I’m sooooo happy. Last night I sent an e-mail to Gloom Cookie’s creator, Serena Valentino. This morning when I woke up this is what was in my inbox:

What a lovely letter! I think I will start my “letters page” with THIS email 🙂
I love to hear that people are still discovering GloomCookie! It makes me all squishy!
Thanks for all the support!
Many squishings and tons of thanks,
~Serena

Hey, I was just introduced to Gloom Cookie this weekend. I was just looking through my local comic shop, Strange Adventures. I was up to date with the other series I collect on a regular bais, Strangers in Paradise so I decided to find something new. I picked up the graphic novel because it caught my eye. Wow, I was very pleasantly surprised. I loved the story and art. It’s one of few comics I’ve read that I’ve really related to.Tonight I went back and got all the issues up to and I’m still hooked. I even went back a second time to get the t-shirt they had with Lex on it. I think you have an obsessed fan now.I’ve also been attempting to get others into GC by shring the graphic novel and talking about it. It’s worked some so far.I have only one complaint about this comic and I’m sure that a lot of readers do as well. It’s that there is no letters page. I would love to be able to read what others think of GC. And I’m sure you are flooded by e-mails and letters of adoring fans.Well, thanks for reading this. Sincerely, Apollo Lemmon Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

OMG! This is sooooo the coolest. 🙂 I mean, in mere hours she replied, AND might have my letter on a letters page. Now I’m going to have a great day! 🙂
But the euphoria must die down some since I’m headed for physics and then philosophy. Oh well, I’ll have good thoughts through them. 🙂
