Good Afternoon

It’s 3:00 pm. Guess ho just woke up….. yep.
I hate being this lazy. I really should have gotten up a lot earlier but oh well. Last night after talking to Ashley I had planned to go to sleep right away.
I first went to Tom Cochrane‘s site and listened to the interviews that are there…. they were really great… gave a lot of insight into one of my favorite songwriters. I can’t wait for hisnew album to come out…. I’ve said that so often but it’s true. Next I went in search of some Matthew Sweet interviews and such.. I guess it was time for me to learn about great songwriters or something. lol I downloaded his version of Paul McCartney’s “Every Night” which can be found on the CD “Listen to What The Man Said: Popular Artists Pay Tribute To The Music of Paul McCartney.” …… that’s one long title šŸ˜‰ But it has great artists like Virgos. Here’s the track listing:

Band on the Run – Owsley
My Brave Face – SR-71
Junk – Kevin Hearn and Steven Page of Barenaked Ladies / Stephen Duffy of The Lilac Time
Jet – Semisonic
No More Lonely Nights – The Merrymakers
Let Me Roll It – Robyn Hitchcock
Too Many People – The Finn Brothers
Dear Friend – The Minus Five
Every Night – Matthew Sweet
Waterfalls – Sloan
Man We Was Lonely – World Party
Coming Up – John Faye Power Trip
Maybe I’m Amazed – Virgos
Love In Song – Judybats
Warm and Beautiful – Linus of Hollywood
Ram On – They Might Be Giants

There is so much I need to do in the next few days. It’s going to be crazy.

“But tonight I just want to stay here and be with you, and be with you”

Oh, don’t forget to check out My Parajournal for lots of other entris that don’t end up on LJ.
