Well, I guess it’s finally time to fill you in on all that happened. Wednesday night I was up all night studying for Calculus and doing my Classic Literature Oedipus essay. I slept for a total of half an hour…. 5 bottles of Jolt really helped though…. I met Nathan around 8, just before the exam, and we headed to Dalplex to get our seats. Sitting in a room with 1000 people all writing the same exam was a new experience. After an hour and a half I had exhausted all my knowledge and I knew I had not passed. I tried my best but it just didn’t ork this time. I have never failed anything until this year. It’s a really odd feeling to know that even my best wasn’t good enough for once. But it’s in the past now so I have to move on and face whatever results.
Nathan had left a bit before I did and we met outside the building. We decided that since we had both finished early that we would come back here and play a game of the new Lord of the Rings TCG that I had bought 2 starter decks of last week. One deck I sold to him because they were almost identical… The game seems really fun. Even though it was my first game it seemed really easy to get into and the gameplay was intuitive. There will be a lot of excellent cards in the second set though. I won the game in the end… my Frodo made it to the end…
After that I got to work on my Classic Lit essay…. I finished it by 3 and then went to the Classics Department where I ran into my Prof. He took the essay and returned my most recent test. I pulled off an A. That made me feel much better after failing a calculus exam. Hopefully I get a decent mark on my essay…. it was written when I was half awake so that’s not really a good sign.
I came back here, e-mailed Ashley and fell asleep. I woke up at around 7 and talked to Ashley. Talking to her made me feel much better about my day. She always seems able to make me happy no matter what. I talked with her until around 1, finished up on the net and then fell asleep again. Today I woke up around 12…. Got an e-mal from Dad saying he will be picking me up at 6 pm today.
Right now I’m going to have a shower, clean my room, pack my stuff and then go for a walk. Have a good day everyone. I’ll be back to write more tonight.
