Collective Soul – anything by these guys rocks… especially Disciplined Breakdown, Dosage and Blender… though 7even Year Itch, their greatest hits album would be a good intro to the band… great lyrics, superior guitar work by the most under-rated guitarist in rock today and a great diversity in style makes CS my favorite band…
Matthew Sweet – another great artist that every album is exceptional… Altered Beast, Girlfriend and In Reverse are my favorites… again, Time Capsule, his greatest hits CD would be the best place to start…
Smashing Pumpkins – you all know this band, I’m sure… Machina is the album I most enjoy but they are all good…
Elastica – The Radio One Sessions… this is the difinitive Elastica collection… if you’ve never heard this band you are really missing out… they have a raw sound but it’ very effective…
A Perfect Circle – Mer de Noms… simply an excellent album
Sandbox – Bionic / Murder In The Glee Club… if you can find these albums you are really lucky… Sandbox is an extreemly under-rated band from here that put out some really amazing albums… great lyrics and some nice experimentations…
Tea Party – Interzone Mantras / Triptych / The Edges Of Twilight / Tangents… Here as an amazing band that you all need to check out…. their use of unusual instruments, great orchestration, lyrics and style makes them a must listen…
