“Falling Down”

Well, my father arrived here at 4:30… we went to dinner and then hing out for a while… Then we went to The Marquee around 8:45…. waited in line for about half an hour…. found a place to lean on since the chairs were all taken… Dad got me a few draft… then April Wine came on at 10:45….
They played mostly uptempo songs…. all but two being from previous albums… I knew almost all of the songs. I was quite proud of that fact…. The funny thing is that my dad saw this same band 25 years ago in Truro… 🙂 The audience was all older than me… mostly 30+… lol I felt so damn young. 😛 They played a couple ballads…. I couldn’t help but think of Ashley then…. 🙂 I love her so much…
The show ended with “Fast Train” after about an hour and a half non stop… there was a great 5-10 min. drum solo in the middle… very well done…. these guys really know how to rawk…. they may be older than most bands playing today but they could out rock almost anyone…. amazing guitarists… It ended after just one encore( 😛 )… So after waiting there a while we left… and we came back here….

I miss Ashley so much right now…. it’s so rare now that we don’t have the chance to talk some every night… And it’s times like this that I really appreciate that…. I really do love her with all my heart…. and I wish we could spend every moment together…I have such an incredible ugre to be able to hold her in my arms and to kiss her…. yet I know that it can’t happen yet…. If I could trade everything for the chance to be with her I would do it without a second thought….

It’s time for me to get some sleep… goodnight everyone

I love you Ashley!
